There are only a number of things that humans can’t do naturally. Flying, swimming, and seeing in the dark are on top of the list. Though, our ingenuity made all of the above doable, some more natural than others.

 Flying and seeing in the dark are the tow things that humans can’t do without any help, so this is why there are unique devices that help us do that.

 Considering the fact that today more than ever, the nights turn into days because of the innumerable actions we go, the need to be able to see in the dark has grown quite a bit.

Night vision devices are calculated to help us see in very low lights. There are a number of devices, that do that, some being able to increase the object(s), but still, the main use of night vision is to see the things you wouldn’t normally see in the dark or in low light.

There are a number off leisure activities and jobs that require night vision, like observing nocturnal flora and fauna, hunting, fishing, boating at night, camping, nighttime driving, search and rescue and of course services use.

When it comes to the technology used for amplifying the low light, there are two ways to go. One way is to amplify the light – night vision devices take that small amount of light that a starlight or moonlight gives and enhance it to allow you to see better. The other way to go is thermal imagining; this uses the heat given off by people, animals and stuff that appears at the low end of the infrared light spectrum which is not normally noticeable to the naked eye, to make an image with it.

 One of the most common night vision devices used are night vision glasses. These are vital because they help drivers see better at night, and reduce the risk of loss of sight because of the incoming headlights.
